ASSIST Sponsorship Links:

ASSIST’s sponsorship base consists of major LED and lighting manufacturers, large-scale purchasers of LED lighting systems, government agencies, and public benefit administration organizations. These entities sponsor ASSIST because they are committed to seeing LED technology gain a strong foothold as an energy-efficient alternative to traditional lighting technologies.

The Operating Plan: Scope of Work and Organization

An Advisory Board, working with the ASSIST project team at the LRC, identifies activities and allocates funds for ASSIST. The Advisory Board teleconferences or meets several times per year. In these meetings, project priorities are determined. The ASSIST project team at the LRC subsequently prepares a work plan and budget for each of the projects designated by the Advisory Board. At the following Advisory Board meetings, these work plans and budgets are reviewed and approved.

Program sponsors pay $25,000 annually ($15,000 annually for LRC Partners). Program sponsors designate a member to serve on the Advisory Board and have one vote. The Advisory Board may appoint additional non-voting members on an annual basis.
